Moving to Hana after constructing a cottage and visiting here for more than 40 years is a dream come true.
I am retired from a career as an international business transactions attorney with offices in Tokyo and Seattle, which culminated as a professor of real property at the University of Montana School of Law in Missoula, Montana.
In my retirement I have traveled quite a bit and have been a general contractor and owned and operated a landscape installation firm.
In joining the Hana Business Council, I hope to become engaged with the Hana community by offering my time and skill set to worthwhile endeavors.

You’ve heard the expression, “If these walls could speak.” Well then, picture this: they do.
Walls, in homes around the world, declare the beauty and wonder of Hawaii’s magnificent natural environment captured through the careful eye and dedicated print artistry of Jerry Grigory. His passion for Hawaii’s overflowing beauty and rich ancient culture is equaled only by a drive to create imagery that invokes the graceful power of hula and the unique allure of the island’s wonder.
Jerry has been working as a professional photographer and print artist on Maui for thirty-five years. With over forty years experience, he has been a long standing member of the Professional Photographers of America since 1994, member of the American Society of Photographers since 2012, and a strong supporter of their efforts in continuing photographic education and teaching. He is a PPA accredited Certified Professional Photographer, Certified Master Photographer, has received merited print awards from PPA national print competitions, and has repeatedly been awarded merit print recipient in the prestigious Loan Collection division of PPA and the Kodak Gallery Award division. Jerry is also a member of the Professional Photographers of Hawaii.
