More about the Hanapapalani proprietor and her artwork ~ available in greeting card sets:
Sybil Sea first visited Maui at age 10. She creates images of realism and fantasy with a palette of pure joy. Sybil Sea spent 20 years as a potter in Carmel, California. She drew scenes of nature on clay. Realizing that she was filling her pottery with line drawings, she went back to painting on canvas and then to silk with ink dyes. The images on this double set of 6 cards are of Sybil Sea’s original ink dye on silk, 36″ x 36″ paintings.
