Summit District:

• Summit District of Haleakalā National Park is reopening Tuesday afternoon, August 22, 2023

• Camping reservations for Hosmer Grove will resume Tuesday, August 22, 2023

• Sunrise reservations will resume Wednesday, August 23, 2023

• Backcountry tent camping and cabins are canceled through Friday, August 25, 2023

Kīpahulu District:

• Kīpahulu District remains closed until further notice due to a water main break – visitors should not plan to drive to the Kīpahulu District until it has been officially reopened

• Camping reservations for Kīpahulu are canceled until further notice
