Join Us for the 30th Annual East Maui Taro Festival!

Hoʻomaikʻai to 30 years celebrating Kalo! East Maui community has gathered annually to celebrate kalo, hawaiian culture, and the mahiʻai who continue the kuleana of feeding Hawaiʻi. This special year honors the many heavenly kūpuna and generations of mahiʻai who dedicated their lives to cultivating kalo and sustaining our people. Bring your ʻohana and spend the day with us in beautiful Hāna as we honor the past and support the next generation of kalo farmers.
Come spend the day in Hāna celebrating one of Hawaiʻi’s most important cultural foods and traditions.
