May 2, 2025—This summer, East Maui’s music scene shines brighter than ever as Hāna Arts proudly launches the 2025 Levitt AMP Hāna Mele Series—a dynamic lineup of ten free outdoor concerts celebrating mele, ʻohana, and the magic of live performance in our rural coastal home.
As the only Hawaiʻi recipient of the national Levitt AMP grant, Hāna Arts transforms familiar gathering places into spaces of joy, culture, and connection. Each concert is open to the public, family-friendly, and designed to bring residents and visitors together to enjoy world-class music in a uniquely local setting.
Most events will be held at the Hāna Farmers Market, with five SUNSET Markets during First Fridays, May-September from 4:00–7:00pm. There will also be two special concert events taking place at Kapueokahi Beach Park/Hāna Bay and the Hāna Maui Resort Gallery Lawn.
This is the first time the market hours have shifted to the evening, so we encourage everyone to come at the adjusted time to enjoy both shopping and the mele festivities. The market will feature all your favorite local vendors, including arts, crafts, and cultural activities. Local concessions will also be available so there’s no need to cook, just enjoy the music! Please note, the market will not be open until the event starts at 4 p.m. these First Fridays.

And with each show grounded in the spirit of aloha and open-air connection, the Levitt AMP Hāna Mele Series continues to make East Maui a destination for authentic, place-based musical experiences.Join us throughout the summer as we gather in the places that define us—on the grass, by the sea, under the setting sun—with music in our ears and community in our hearts.
Mahalo to our partners! This series would not be possible without the support of Hāna Farmers Market, Hāna-Maui Resort, the County of Maui Office of Economic Development, and KOKO-LP Radio.
