Hāna Festivals of Aloha 2026 Schedule of Events
Our Festivals of Aloha theme, “Ea mai ke Kai mai – Rise up from the Sea,” supports Governor Josh Greene’s declaration that 2026 be the “Year of our Coastal Kuleana.” It is inspired by a pule hoʻōla (prayer for long life) found in June Gutmanis’s book, Nā Pule Kahiko Ancient Hawaiian Prayers. This pule is noted to be a familial chant stemming from the family of David Malo Kupihea (1872-1952). The repeated phrase, “Ea mai ke kai mai,” reinforces the deeply embedded beliefs that the akua and the aliʻi, along with the highly organized systems of kuleana-based beliefs and stewardship over which they presided, rose up from the sea.

Keiki/Wahine shoreline fishing tournament 7:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Ohana Beach Day Games 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Local music, games and fun.
Monday, October 19, 2026:
Sports Night 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm Pickle ball, Tennis, Volleyball, Cornhole, Trumps and Chess.
Tuesday, October 20, 2026:
Sports Night 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm Pickle ball, Tennis, Volleyball, Cornhole, Trumps and Chess.
Wednesday, October 21, 2026:
Hāna Arts Annual Talent Show 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Six categories with more than $2000 in prize money.
Thursday, October 22, 2026:
Kupuna Luncheon hosted by Hāna-Maui Resort 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Paniolo Lounge.
Hawaiiana Night: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm Food contest, Lei & Floral Contest, and Keiki/Makua Aloha Attire contest.
Friday, October 23, 2026:
Jamboree Night 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm Country line dancing, music and fun for all.
Saturday, October 24, 2026:
Cross Country golf hosted by Hāna-Maui Resort 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Ho’ike Night at Hāna Ballpark.
Gates open at 4:00 pm. Entertainment, food and fun from 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
