Come celebrate Music at the Market! Join us, for the Levitt ‘AMP Hāna’ Music Series, presented by Hāna Arts on Friday, July 14th at the Hāna Farmers & Artist Market from 3-6pm. This week’s lineup includes the collaboration of Kuf Knotz & Christine Elise, along with Rowdy Love.
Named Philadelphia Magazine Best Rapper of 2022, New Jersey artists Kuf Knotz (Producer/MC) and Christine Elise (Harpist/Vocalist) have brought their unique blend of hip-hop, soul and classical traditions global. Releasing their highly anticipated third album “Hypnagogia” in the coming months (2023), Kuf and Christine’s music explores themes of unity and the infinite possibility of creating a better world. They fuse hip-hop poetry with bluesy beats supported by the harp. And, you can dance to it. The duo has opened for Wyclef Jean, Yellowman, Rising Appalachia, Slick Rick, Morcheeba, Digable Planets and have been featured on NPR Music and WHYY.
The opening act this week will be the one and only Slam-grass band on Maui, with quite a boot stompin’ following. Stina Lynn and Aaron Jernigan are the heart of Rowdy Love, co-creating and writing original tunes, influenced by rockabilly, folk, ska and blues.
