Bringing Hawaii’s magnificent natural environment indoors, I have strived to create images that capture the dramatic scenery and world famous beauty of the islands. My passion for Hawaii’s overflowing beauty and rich ancient culture is equaled only by a drive to create imagery that invokes the graceful power of hula and the unique allure of the island’s wonders.
I have been working as a professional photographer on Maui for forty years. With forty-five years experience, I have been a long standing member of the Professional Photographers of America since 1994, member of the American Society of Photographers since 2012, and a strong supporter of their efforts in continuing photographic education and teaching. I am a PPA accredited Certified Professional Photographer, Certified Master Photographer, Certified Master Craftsmen, have received merited print awards from PPA national print competitions, and repeatedly been received as an award merit print recipient in the prestigious Image of Excellence division of PPA and the Kodak Gallery Award division.
