DESCRIPTION:PRESS RELEASE \nFor Immediate Release \nJanuary 8\, 2021 \n  \nFree Drive-Through COVID-19 Testing set for Thursday\, Jan. 14\, in Hana \nParticipants must pre-register for free testing \nFree drive-through COVID-19 testing will be available for Hana residents on Thursday\, Jan. 14\, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hana Ball Park\, Mayor Michael Victorino announced. \nAll participants must pre-register by visiting www.minitmed.com/pre-register-maui-covid-19. Participants are asked to come to the test site at their designated time\, and motorists can only access the drive-through testing area by turning on to Hauoli Road from Hana Highway. \nResidents do not need to have insurance or meet any criteria to get the free test. Participants must wear a face mask. Results will be reported on the same day. Minit Medical is administering the program sponsored by the County of Maui. \n“Mahalo to Minit Medical Urgent Care for administering nearly 14\,000 COVID-19 tests in its ongoing partnership with the County of Maui\,” Mayor Victorino said. “The voluntary testing program began in mid-October and includes recent testing for the outbreak at Harbor Lights. Overall\, the program has identified 290 cases of infection.
